This is the Protocol Officer from a Middle East Embassy greeting people and welcoming them to their National Day Reception. This line was the length of the ballroom at the Ritz in this direction to greet the Ambassador, perhaps 150-200 feet, but to the right the line doubled back upon itself as you headed down the hall to meeting rooms. Once inside the food, music, exhibits all made it worth while coming to celebrate the birth of their nation.
