Last month we had a demonstration on Crazy Quilts and also got to hand around and look closely at examples of completed projects.
I would probably never make one of these because after you assemble the square from scrap fabric and assemble by paper piecing technique, you have to add embroidery stitches, sequins, beads, buttons, etc to the top.
Luckily the homework assignment to work on this new pattern only required that we assemble the square, leaving the final embellishment to the winner of the drawing. I don't plan to put my name in the lot!
